Week 3 paleo

Ok so I have a confession to make. We cheated this weekend, we cheated badly. It was definitely not our intentions, we planned on cheating one time for our reward for finishing the 21 day diet, but then we found ourselves in situations where there were no paleo options. Don’t worry though, we are back at it.

 There are so many opinions about cheat meals; some are for and some are against. I’m defiantly for cheat meals and here’s why. Cheat meals gives you an opportunity to have something to look forward to. Last year I would treat myself to a pretzel every Friday as my cheat. This year Chad and I decided to go hard for 21 days and then treat ourselves then go back hard for a few more weeks. Our decision to get back on the Paleo diet was for weight loss reasons and to re-teach our bodies self-control and portion sizes again. We have had tremendous success with the diet and are losing a healthy amount of weight. Why not treat yourselves every once in a while just as long as you are still losing the weight and not gaining.
