Weekend Recap

After being gone last week, I seem to not be able to catch up. This weekend was no exception. I went to my mom’s side for Christmas on Saturday and when I got back I was too tired to finish my wrapping or get last minute things done around the house. But I did get to spend some time with my cousin who just had a baby and her adorable little baby girl.

 

We are hosting Christmas Eve dinner this year and I knew I would be busy with traveling and last minute Christmas that we decided to hire someone to clean our house. Sometimes you just need help and there are people out there for it! Oh how I could get use to someone cleaning my house. I love the smell of a clean home when I walk in. I think we’ll just keep it to 1 to 2 times a year for right now though.

Sunday wasn’t much of a relaxing day either. I saw a dresser on Craigslist that was only $50, so of course we drove to pick it up. I cannot wait to show you the before and after. Chad just loves it when I make up projects for him to do. We also had Chad’s parents over for dinner so we could exchange presents since they are driving out to California to spend Christmas with their grandbaby.

Only 2 days of work this week and I find myself saying, you can do it, you can do it, over and over in my head. Happy Christmas week!
