Photography List

Wednesday, October 1, 2014

I absolutely LOVED our photographer. She is so so sweet and her work is amazing! I seriously feel like the skinniest model when she’s shooting, which is how everyone should feel like. I loved her so much that we are going back to her in a few weeks for our first family photos with Karl for our Christmas cards.

One thing I wish that I would have done before the wedding was to put together a list of photography musts. The day of is so hectic that you forget all of those precious moments you wish to capture in front of the lens. For example, I wish that I would have gotten a picture with just the flower girl and a picture of the flower girls and ring bearer with Chad and I.

Here’s a short list of ideas to get started on that photography list:

Bride and Groom:
Flower girls and ring bearer
Bride’s Family (List out the names, I know this sounds ridiculous but there are a lot of people there and some might get lost in the shuffle)
Groom’s Family
Bride’s Grandparents
Groom’s Grandparents
Wedding party

 Bride:
Sisters
Family
Bridesmaids
Flower Girls

 Groom:
Brothers
Groomsmen
Ushers

Also, I would highly suggest doing a first look with your Bride and Groom. Not only does it save time after the ceremony, so your guests aren’t waiting for you forever, but it also allows you to have a few special moments with each other before all the hustle and bustle begins. It gives you a time to take a deep breath and breathe before you walk down the aisle.

Our guest probably waited about 30 minutes just to finish up family photos and get a few more photos of us which was perfect timing because our guests had time to grab a drink and chit chat before we “showed” up for the reception.
