This past week I went to my annual doctor’s appointment. Let’s
just say marriage has been good to me, since I’ve packed on quite a few unnecessary
pounds. So with my motivation at its utmost high, my hubby and I decided to make
a trip to Academy. Because what helps your motivation more than new workout
clothes, right? Can I just ask though, when did running shorts become compression
shorty shorts? I’m not about to show my goodies to the entire neighborhood now. Just wondering.
With that aside, Chad and I had a coffee date Saturday
morning at our new favorite coffee shop in Collinsville and then ran into
Owasso to grab materials for our Halloween costumes this year! I’m so excited
that it will be our first Halloween to pass out candy in our house.
I am also so excited that it’s football season, don’t get me
wrong though, I’m not there to watch the game, it’s more or less for the yummy
food and girl talk while the guys watch the game. Great time to catch up with
everyone especially since one of our friends is an assistant high school coach.
Go Ironmen!!
Sunday I woke up with a massive headache that lingered most of the day. When it finally passed I finished the laundry and actually put it all away, which is a huge improvement in our household. It normally stays on the ground until Saturday, please no judgment. I also got in the baking mood and made 2 quiches for our work week while Chad was out in the garage.
While in the middle of making the quiches Chad comes in telling me to get his BB gun and to not come out to the garage, ummm this can not be good. After a while he comes in all excited and tells me there was a mouse in the garage and he killed it making it his first kill for hunting season. Now I have to worry about mice around the house on top of everything else, goodness.
