Audrey - 3 months

Tuesday, November 21, 2017

Audrey has been a little slice of heaven and a blessing to our family. She is the sweetest most content little baby girl. Good thing to because big brother is BOSSY.

Sleep: Audrey still sleeps fairly well. Most nights she will wake up only once around 1:30. The other night she gave us a whopping 7 hours!! When she does wake up she eats and goes right back to sleep so no complaining here about her waking up. She sleeps in the rock n play at the moment and we plan on switching her to her crib during naps this month and then full time next month. Wish us luck!!

Eat: At our 2 month appointment our doctor diagnosed Audrey with thrush.  Which is an abundance amount of yeast in the mouth, it makes their mouths sore which means a shallow latch. It’s been a little painful and annoying to say the least. Her medicine is 4 times a day and we have to wash and sterilize everything that goes in her mouth once a day. I’m hoping it will get better and go away for good. She also has acid reflux and will spit up a ton! Some days I’ll go through 3 shirts and I’ve learned to not put my work shirt on until after she is done eating. Audrey is taking 3.5-4 ounces from a bottle at daycare, she is a tommee tippee baby and will only take their pacifiers and bottles.

Development: Audrey hates tummy time so she has only rolled over from tummy to back a few times. We’re trying to do more tummy time but I’m a sucker and will pick her up when she starts to cry. She is starting to grab things and wanting to sit up. She is growing too fast, but I also can’t believe she is already 3 months old. Wasn’t she just born yesterday?!?

We started daycare this past month and Audrey is doing amazing! Our babysitter called her a dream baby which makes me so happy. I sure do miss my time with my babies but it makes it 100X better when I know she’s in good hands. We are so thankful for our babysitter.
