Grady’s vocabulary has skyrocketed this past month, every day he says a
new word(s). It is so much fun watching him learn and interact with others. He
continues to surprise us with his entertainment everyday.
Development:
Grady is one bossy little boy. He will tell you to sit down when he
wants you to sit or stand when he wants you to stand. We are working on
patience and not getting so upset when he doesn’t get his way which has been
fun to say the least. When we have guests over we tell him to say good bye he
is like his momma and doesn’t linger around he says bye and then will say door
and point to the front door for them to leave. Oh how I love him!
He has an amazing vocabulary and we can understand most of what he says
very clearly. However, when he says lotion it’s more like, ‘oh shit’… He also
started saying “Was up”. He’s putting more words together and it is seriously
the cutest thing. We also have to really watch what we say in front of him
because he is repeating a lot more these days too.
Play:
He is currently obsessed with cars and trucks and we have reached the
stage of having to take a few trucks along with us in the car when we go paces.
We still love the outdoors and seriously could stay out there all day if I
would let him.
Food:
I have been blessed to have a child that is somewhat not picky. He eats
his fruit and veggies really well but if he has too much of one thing
continuously he gets pretty burnt out on it. His favorite meal is goulash and
his favorite snack is the chewy granola bars. He’s never been a juice man and
will not drink tea or pop. He is a water guy all the way but we have to put
miralax in his water everyday to keep him regulated.
