This weekend was per bliss. So many times I get caught up in the
“to-do” lists that we don’t just simply sit back and enjoy! I think our pastor
was speaking right to me when he read this verse…
"LORD, remind me how brief my time on earth will be. Remind me that my days
are numbered - how fleeting my life is. You have made my life no longer than
the width of my hand. My entire lifetime is just a moment to you; at best,
each of us is but a breath" Psalm 39:4-5 NLT
It was definitely fitting. Almost everyone at work is sick, so I was bound to have my sinuses act up over the weekend. We spent Friday evening relaxing and Saturday we slept in, went to go get coffee, and just drove around ending up at a winery we didn't even know existed. Sunday we went to church and then went over to a friend's house to watch the big game!
I think Karl likes it when we are lazy
