This past weekend was the last
weekend for Parade of Homes. You guys already know I love this event and that
we go every year. It is by far my favorite thing to do during the summer. Chad
and I have always talked about moving in the future but we have been ramping up
those conversations. We’ve said maybe in 3 to 5 years from now but currently we have been
discussing next year after Audrey is 1. I’ve
been hesitant in mentioning this because well we don’t know what the future
holds for us but Chad and I took a long hard look at the budget and we are
estimating on paying our house off in a little over a year!!! So even though I
really want some sort of change in my life I also want to stay in our house
long enough to get it paid off. But after attending this year’s Parade of
Homes, I’ve been stung by the moving bug once again. Oh what to do what to do?
We found a floor plan that both of us fell in love with. It was one where the Master was downstairs and when you walk upstairs you walk into a game room and then the bedrooms were upstairs off of the game room. I really didn't think I would like that but after walking around it just felt right. Below are a few pictures from this year's parade of homes.
Isn't this beautiful! It's actually tile not concrete but it looks just like concrete.
This next house was by far our favorite with all of the farmhouse style. I mean that ceiling!

Love this idea of a small bar in between the dining room and kitchen.
Love this little area if we do have a game room that way we can keep snacks and beverage upstairs for the kids.
Love, love, love this style of bathtub.
Excuse my photobomb but I love the little sit down vanity in the bathroom

This was a little outside sitting area off the master which was so cute! I probably would never use this area but it was super cute
Fixer upper anyone?
Can we just take a moment to stare at this gorgeous pantry? I do believe Chad had to pry me out of this pantry!
I'm really loving the carpet in between the stairs as well, especially for little ones
We noticed that there was a lot of houses with a TON of storage space which I love. I love my house but that is one thing that is missing is a lot of storage space. I did notice though that the closets were really small. We went to a Million Dollar home in Tulsa and the closet was no joke about the size of my current closet.
