I should probably start writing these throughout the month,
does anyone else feel like February came and went in a blink of an eye? Yup! I
wish I had a big announcement to make this month but again not much progress on
my new year’s resolutions.
We started out the month sleep training Audrey and by the 3rd
night she got sick and started throwing up. Then she refused to eat for about a
week and when I went to take her in to the doctor she had a double ear
infection. Guys I have never felt more defeated, I mean if people weren’t
already calling her tiny, petite, small they sure were now!
We attended 2 birthday parties this past month and have come
to conclude that this is what our future holds and I just cannot wait! Surround
me with all the babies!! We also only went to church once this month (sorry
mom) but Audrey is at the point where she needs to go to nursery and with this
winter just sucking with all the sickness’ I’m terrified to take her to
nursery.
Life is crazy right now and we have been focusing a lot of
our attention on baby girl and getting her well and sleeping and packing on the
weight. I feel like that is all I breathe right about now. However, I cannot be
more proud of my littlest man. He is the best brother by far and has made these
difficult days pretty comical, with the exception that everything is his! He is
starting to put more and more words together and form sentences. And right now
when we ask him where something is his response is “Karl ate it”. We try and
sit on the potty every night before bath time to get him used to the idea but
we’re not quite ready for potty training just yet, we don’t want to start him
too early and him not be ready I only want to potty train once. We has peed in
the potty however!!
Chad introduce Grady to a new show and now that is ALL we
watch. We have been trying to cut back on the TV time and it’s normally only on
when he wakes up and a little before bed. Our doctor recommends only 1 hour of
TV a day and we try but fail on the weekends especially with it being cold out
right now. When I do ask him what he wants to watch I give him options and its
ALWAYS horsies. So, thank you Chad.
Currently every time he hurts himself it’s a boo boo and we
have to kiss it. The way he says “boo boo” is probably the cutest thing too.
And if one of us get on to him he’ll run to the other one, he already knows how
to work the system.
He has been going to bed a lot better these days unlike his
sister! We normally offer him some milk, read some books, watch a little tv,
and then kiss everyone in the house good night including Karl and he HAS to
kiss Karl goodnight or he will be letting you know.
